An abstract work of art contains a creative act, to invent the never seen, the unknown, which opens also to the observer the possibility of free interpretation. For the production of colours partly pigments are grated with binder of high quality, to reach an extraordinary intensity of colour. Informal and gestic painting means the declaration for colour, for the eternal relevance of painting. Every stilistic form of expression is possible, from a conceptional or even radical painting up to an elementary colour painting. The question whether realistic or abstract is out-dated. Art is always artifical, never natural. Art whether realistic or not, can never be only reproduction, but must be transformation, not quotation, but formal creative expression.
